VSG expands into Northern Ireland
As part of the company's growth, VSG is delighted to announce the expansion of its service delivery into Northern Ireland. This move that has been prompted by its existing customers, whose accounts have until now been serviced by VSG's Supply Partner, and also by the opportunities to develop new local business.
This will bring the benefits of a local General Manager, Tim Bertenshaw, an Area Manager, Margaret Jeffery and an administrative and supervisory function. Offices have been acquired in the Gas Works development in Belfast and are currently being fitted out, with a launch date at the start of April 2006.
The timely opening of the new offices coincides with the transfer of B & Q stores in Newry, Newtownabbey, Ballymena, Sprucefield, Holywod Exchange and Boucher Road, Belfast on 1st April, with Londonderry coming onboard on 1st May. VSG also provide security services to Abbey in Belfast and TK Maxx Distribution in County Antrim.
This existing business has been supplemented with the win of Dunelm Mills and T K Maxx Retail stores contracts in Ballymena, Belfast and Newry.
General Manager, Tim Bertenshaw says "VSG is proud of its position as the fastest growing Manned Guarding provider in the UK and, through its excellent conditions of employment, training and individual development opportunities, we are now able to offer the same consistently high standard of service in Northern Ireland to existing mainland VSG clients."
