VSG Hit Fasttrack 100

VSG's status as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK was recognised in the recently published Virgin Atlantic Sunday Times Fast Track 100. The list, which highlights the fastest growing privately owned organisations, ranked VSG in 14th place.

From a standing start six years ago, the company today has an annualised turnover of £65m and employs in excess of 3000 staff.

The growth of the company has been achieved by maintaining the focus on its core markets and through continual investment in its support structure.

More than anything, the success that the company has enjoyed is a direct result of the outstanding levels of customer service and hard work delivered by site based staff.

Scotland 'Security Officer of the Year'

I am very pleased to announce that John Logan a security officer working at Fort Glasgow was awarded the prestigious title as ‘Scotland’s Security Officer of the Year’.

This was a tough selection process and commenced with 65 nominees from all the major companies that was reduced to seven, three of which were from VSG. From the seven, the judges conducted individual interviews and concluded with an examination.

Last year Neil Millar won the same award for VSG and John continues to fly our flag north of the border. This is a fantastic achievement for John who at 22 is a young officer.
