Security Excellence Awards

The Security Excellence Awards, known as the “Industry Oscars” took place at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London on 4th October 2005.

Last year VSG won the Best Customer Service Initiative for C2Q. This year we have the great pleasure of announcing we have won the coveted “Guarding Company of the Year” award.

VSG’s success has been fuelled by a commitment and passion that runs through the company. This is reflected in continuous investment in all areas of our business and in the development of progressive services designed to embrace future trends. We moved into our new offices in February this year, which has allowed us to offer new services such as alarm monitoring, remote CCTV surveillance and access control. VSG embraces the new licensing legislation and through regular communication, we have allowed our clients to plan for the changes.

All employees are involved in our award winning Customer Service programme C2Q (Commitment to Quality). This demonstrates the emphasis the company places on customer care and is a tool that involves all staff in achieving their objectives and sharing success.

This is further supported by continual investment in the development of our staff, with the implementation of the VSG Management Development Programme giving officers a formal structure into VSG management.

“VSG has achieved a good balance of training, technology and customer service. The company invests in staff rather than just paying lip service to doing so” — judges comment.

Since VSG’s formation in 2000, we have been striving to achieve this recognition and we are delighted to have won. This award is the culmination of years of hard work and commitment to the industry and could not have been achieved without the hard work of each and every employee.
